Accident at School
Unfortunately a child having an accident in school does happen. Much of the time these accidents cannot be helped and are just due to children being children. However, on occasion an accident may be due to negligence on the part of the school and therefore if your child has suffered injury from this accident, you could be entitled to make a claim for compensation for them.
Accidents/injuries in schools might include:
- Slip or trip within the school grounds
- Defective equipment, i.e. chairs, playground equipment, desks
- Exposure to asbestos
- Injury from a sports accident in physical education
- Assault or attack
