How do I claim?
Funding your claim

There are a number of ways to fund your claim. Your solicitor will discuss these with you and explain the options. These include:

  • Legal expenses insurance. Check your insurance policies to see if you are covered.

  • If you are a member of a Union or Staff Association, they may fund the case for you.

  • If the first two options do not apply to you, don't worry.

All Accident Line solicitors can pursue claims under Conditional Fee Agreements. CFAs mean that solicitors take no payment for their work unless they win the case. If your claim is not successful, then you may be liable for the other party's legal costs, but your Accident Line solicitor will provide insurance called Accident Line Protect, to cover that eventuality. If you win the case, you will receive compensation and the insurance premium and your legal costs should be recoverable from the other side.
